PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: 16 March 2026

1. Who is responsible

Womensbodysuit, operated by Womensbodysuit Curated Fit-and-Feel Bodysuit Dropshipping Store ("we", "us"), is responsible for personal information handled for this store, subject to applicable law. This policy applies to store visitors, customers and people who contact us. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to support@womensbodysuit.com. Checkout is open for the eligible products and destination shown on the storefront.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you use the store, we may collect contact and account details you submit (such as name, email and phone number), billing and delivery address, order contents and history, support correspondence, choices or preferences you provide, and information needed to prevent fraud. Our hosted checkout provider may collect payment credentials directly; we do not store full card numbers or card security codes. We may receive a payment result, limited transaction reference and billing information needed for order records. The site or its service providers may collect device, browser, approximate location, log, cookie and usage information. We will not request sensitive information unless necessary and lawful for a specific support matter.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use information to operate the storefront, take and fulfill orders, arrange delivery, handle returns and support, communicate order status, maintain business and tax records, protect the store and customers, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Where applicable under GDPR or similar law, processing is based on steps to enter or perform a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests such as security and service improvement (balanced against your rights), or consent where consent is required. For POPIA, we process for lawful, specific purposes, including contract performance, legal duties, legitimate interests and consent where appropriate.

4. How information is shared

We share only relevant information with service providers that help operate the store, such as hosted checkout and payment services, website hosting, customer support, security, and the supplier fulfilling your order. An order supplier may need your name, delivery address, contact details and item information to ship the purchase. Providers may process information under their own terms and, where required, written data-protection arrangements. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, authorities, courts or other parties when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to legal safeguards. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising unless a future practice is disclosed and any required consent or opt-out is provided.

5. International transfers

A supplier, payment provider or other service may process information in a country different from yours, including outside South Africa, the EEA, the UK or the United States. Where applicable, we use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual clauses, and take account of local transfer requirements. Contact us for information about relevant safeguards, subject to lawful limitations.

6. Retention and security

We retain order and transaction records for the period needed to fulfill the order, provide support, meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. Other information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for its stated purpose, then deleted or de-identified where feasible. Specific periods depend on the record and legal requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise perfect security. Please do not send card credentials or unnecessary sensitive information by email.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies or similar storage may be used for security, session continuity and checkout functions. Optional analytics or advertising cookies should be used only with the notices and consent or opt-out controls required for your location. You can manage cookies through browser settings and any cookie preference tool provided on the site; blocking essential cookies may affect checkout. See the Cookie Policy if one is published.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing; and appeal a denied privacy request. Under POPIA, you may request access or correction and object to certain processing. Under GDPR, you may also complain to your supervisory authority. California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of sale or sharing and certain targeted advertising, without discrimination for exercising rights. Other US state laws may provide similar rights. We do not knowingly sell or share information for cross-context advertising. To exercise rights, use the privacy contact method published on the storefront. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal period. You may use an authorized agent where local law permits. Some information must be kept to complete an order or meet legal duties; if so, we will explain applicable limits.

9. Children

The store is intended for adults shopping for clothing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us using the published privacy contact method so we can review and delete it where required.

10. Changes and complaints

We may revise this policy as our practices change and will post the new effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required. You may complain to the relevant privacy regulator. For South African matters, the Information Regulator is available at https://inforegulator.org.za/; for EU/UK matters, contact your local data protection authority. Our current privacy contact is support@womensbodysuit.com.
